Little yellow torch-buds
raised high
without pitchforks
a crowd waits
to protest
and drive away the frost
by their defiant
unfurling

Hmm… that sun/moon plaque was hung on a nail at Hmm… that sun/moon plaque was hung on a nail at the top of that gate yesterday afternoon. Obviously the high winds last night yeeted it off somehow and dropped it a few feet back.
