Monday Memorabilia/Collections: Jessica Rabbit figurine
This week, let’s talk about one of my all-time favorite characters: Jessica Rabbit from Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
I ordered this around Halloween last year, actually at the same time when I was ordering a handful of similarly sized statuettes of pagan deities for my altar. I had the notion that it would be awesome to get a little Jessica Rabbit for my desk as a mascot for my fitness goals, being a busty redhead (well, not naturally on the hair color front, but still.)
And because I like collecting that sorta thing, what with the dolls and all.
So I kept an eye on eBay and of course most of the options were stupidly expensive or crappily made or both, but this one was lovely and a reasonable price, and a reasonable size (not just 2″ tall), and I especially likes the detailing on her dress in this version, so I bought her and she’s been on my desk ever since.
I even kept the box, and outside of Lemax, I almost never keep any boxes, but there is the move I’m planning, so I figured I should err on the side of caution.
