- The Sex Lives of Cannibals: Adrift in the Equatorial Pacific by J. Maarten Troost
So I finally finished The Sex Lives of Cannibals. Not because it’s a slow read (it’s not) but because by the time I was halfway through I was purposefully only reading a bit at a time to drag it out, lol.
Fantastic memoir, funny, and also a fascinating window into life on a small impoverished remote island in the Pacific. And it also shows some of the wastes incurred in the foreign aid world.
Highly recommended.
